Grayshott was the scene of artist expressions this week when businesses joined forces to support one of its newer businesses and to celebrate the internationally famous!

Tuesday saw the launch of Gallery One's 'Pop Art' show which featuring works from David Hockney, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Sir Peter Blake and many more. Marian Orchard-Webb, owner of Gallery One was delighted with the response to the exhibition "Everyone seems so delighted that we are bringing art of this standard to Grayshott; sourcing the artwork proved a challenge at times, particularly following the recent record breaking Warhol sale at Christie?s New York, where 'Green Car Crash' sold for £36million, we thought we would be left with no Warhol's but we are thrilled to have been able to display such a large collection of his strong iconic images." Phil Bates, Chairman and Trustee of Grayshott Pottery was thrilled to support the event and said "Grayshott has a strong background when it comes to artists. We hope that we can keep it vibrant and alive by supporting these wonderful modern events and our newer businesses too".
