16th may - What's On! - Poets aka 'early beers' fans will be in seventh heaven tonight as Beacon Hill's 6th Beer Festival gets underway at 6pm and continues tomorrow afternoon and evening. Why? well I admit to having been to the odd beerex or three and have to say I rate this one highly - not just for the quality and choice of beers and ciders but for ambience with good food and music. Well worth leaving the confines of Grayshott for - it all happens at Beacon Hill's village club aka Hindhead British Legion. more...

16th may - Life in Blue Jackets and Pines - Grayshott stepped back in time on Saturday to pay tribute to famous Grayshott resident Dame Agnes Weston. Highly regarded for her charitable work with serving Royal Navy servicemen and their families during the latter part of Victorian times, residents, businesses and members of local clubs and societies joined the celebrations and the unveiling of a blue plaque at Dame Agnes's house 'Ensleigh' in Crossways Road, Grayshott. more...
13th may - Grayshott Gardeners' Annual Plant Sale - The village square saw unusual activity before most of the shops were open on the morning of Saturday May 10. The early riser would have observed a well organized group erecting tables and covering them with a range of plants that would defy most of us to comprehensively identify. The occasion was the annual plant sale organized by the Grayshott Gardeners. more...
12th may - Stagers' treat for Noel Coward fans - Grayshott Stagers gave Noel Coward aficionados a real treat with their production of Cowardy Custard at the village hall over four nights from 23rd to 26th April. Telling the story of Coward's life through song and biographical snippets, the revue features songs and scenes from the 1920s to the 1960s, including I'll See, You Again, London Pride, Mad Dogs and Englishmen and A Room with a View. more...
