30th jul 2010 - Grayshott's views ignored on Traffic Calming - Surrey County Council are planning to install traffic calming measures in Headley Road in Grayshott, which were planned as part of the Hindhead Improvements, despite Grayshott residents urging them to wait until the tunnel is open to assess the actual impact of the new A3 tunnel on traffic flows. 19th jan 2010 - Snowed under Grayshott goes to work on an EGG - Heavy snow falls during January in Grayshott have triggered the formation of Emergency Group Grayshott, or EGG for short, to help residents and shopkeepers cope with the extreme weather. On Saturday morning of 16th Jan dozens of volunteers met in the square before clearing remaining snow and ice from pavements and carparks around the village, restoring safe passage and access to key shops and facilities. more...

29th feb 2008 - Affordable housing boost for Grayshott - East Hampshire District Council is delighted that a small-scale development of affordable housing is to be provided in the village of Grayshott to address the housing needs of some local people. This year will see the completion of two houses and two bungalows in the village. Following development funding of £196,000 from the Housing Corporation, Drum Housing Association started on site in January at Beech Hanger End. 4th feb 2008 - 2007 Best Dressed Shop in Grayshott Awards Dinner Last night (Sunday 3rd February) saw the exciting finale of the awards for the best dressed shop in Grayshott 2007. Judging is done twice a year, in spring and autumn, with marks awarded for cleanliness, shop display and general shop appearance.
