An evening of entertainment from our resident Jazz band at the club from Binkys' |
| Dixie Demons fronted by the legendary banjoist Billy Gyford, who is well known on |
| the European Jazz Circuit. |
| On trumpet is Denny Ilett from with the world famous Max Collies Rhythm Aces. |
| He was described as "One of England's best trumpet players" by the late |
| Richard White, on clarinet and saxaphones, is one of Britain's most underrated |
| reed player - surely it's only a matter of time before this musician gets the |
| recognition he truly deserves. |
| Completing this swinging cornet is local bass player David Doel, who also fronts |
| his own band Western Swing. |
| The Social Club is situated 100 yards in Hill Road on the left at the crossroads by |
| Non members are especially welcome, and it would be an opportunity to |
| experience the excellent facilities the club has to offer. |
| There is a fully stocked bar with reasonbly priced drinks and there is a dance floor |
| for those wishing to waggle a crafty hoof! Mince Pies and Christmas spirit will be |
