4.Report from the meeting held on site at The Co-op, Headley Road.
Mr Slaughter reported that he had met with Kevan Keddy, (who is to produce the retrospective planning application) on the 10th June on site at the Co-op. With regard to the new exposed pipework, Mr Slaughter asked if it could be boxed in before as and when the retrospective planning application is submitted. Mr Keddy replied that this would be too expensive, would require frequent maintenance and would be very imposing but as part of the planning application the Parish Council could request that they be painted to blend in more with the brickwork. Mr Slaughter then asked about the fascias in Avenue Road.Mr Keddy replied that works to this area had been approved at a cost of £10,000. Co-op has also now moved the bins to the rear of the premises. Finally Mr Slaughter asked whether, given the plans for the Square, would Co-op reconsider the current graphics in the window which are not in keeping with a rural village. Mr Keddy said that in his opinion Co-op would not approve any changes as this now their corporate image and has been rolled out nationwide. The Parish Council now awaits the retrospective planning application for the new entrance door and new pipework.
5.Update on The Clinic, School Road, Grayshott and conditions of the permission notice.
A letter had been received from EHDC regarding the plaques at The Clinic. The letter, addressed to Surrey PCT asked that any developer is requested to retain the plaques for reuse in the new development. It was further suggested that should this not be possible the plaques be donated to the Parish Council. The assistant clerk was asked to write direct to the PCT on behalf of the Parish Council to reiterate this request.
