| on tenor sax, a favourite with the club since his first appearance several months |
| The bad news is...after ringing round every banjoist in southern England Bill has |
| reluctantly asked me to step in for the night! I shall bring my guitar as well and I |
| may be pursuaded to give my tonsils an airing. |
| Stop Press! I've just been informed Denny is travelling back from Denmark that |
| day and rather than tempt fate I've booked Andy Swoon from Harry Strutter Hot |
| Rhythm Orchestra for the night. |
| I like Andy's playing - for a trumpet player he shows an amazing display of |
| dynamics. I'm looking forward to hearing him gel with Big John. Regular David |
| Doel dependable bassist completes the quartet for the evening. |
