The jumble sale is being run by the Scouts to raise funds to send our |
| representative Rabbie McGowan to the 22nd World Scout Jamboree in Sweden in |
| 2011 - see message below… |
| It is on Saturday 22nd May 10-12am at the Village Hall |
| Jumble can be dropped off at the village hall from 8am on the day or call Karen on |
| 606440 or Jo on 609439 for collection in the previous week. |

| District who have been chosen to go to the 22nd World Scout Jamboree in |
| The first World Scout Jamboree took place in 1920 in the UK and has been |
| heldalmost every four years since. In Sweden the theme will be 'Simply Scouting', |
| and 64 Scouts from Surrey will be joining 40,000 other Scouts representing 165 |
| We will, literally, be camping and living alongside people from all other cultures, |
| faiths and races; in the process achieving something the UN only hopes for!This |
| is a once in a lifetime opportunity, but I need to raise funds, so please support the |
