| Grayshott Village Hall, officially known as the Grayshott & Hindhead Institute and Village Hall, was |
| built on land donated by Mrs Plymton Smith, who lived at Hurstmere, in memory of her brother, Dr |
| Richard Plymton. Further funds for the building, |
| designed by Messrs Reich & Macdonald and built by Messrs Chapman, Lowry and Puttick, were |
| raised by gifts and public donations. The Village Hall is one of the largest in the area and is |
| financed by grants from the Parish Council and other bodies, |
| as well as the fees received from lettings. Regular and long term users of the hall include the |
| Grayshott Stagers, Grayshott Horticultural Society, Grayshott Flower Club, Grayshott Bowls Club, |
