| Description |
A Grayshott Sports & Recreation steering group was formed in 2008 by Grayshott Parish Council |
| to organise a study into sports and recreation provision in Grayshott. |
| The study was carried out by a highly respected firm of Sports Consultants, TrioPlus, which was |
| completed in three phases at the end of November 2009. |
| There followed a public consultation with the Grayshott Community and the consultation brochure |

| Funding for the study, which cost £7,000, has come from Grayshott Parish Council, East |
| Hampshire District Council, Grayshott Sportsfield Committee and Haslemere Sports Association. |
| This comprehensive review of sport and recreation in Grayshott looked at existing provision, site |
| issues and demand and has now been completed. |
| It has recommended opportunities to promote healthy and active lifestyles through all age groups |
| and ways of improving sports provision in Grayshott, hand-in-hand with surrounding areas. |
| Part of the study has seen to justify a re-build of the existing sports pavilion which is nearing the |
| end of its life and how the funding for this and other sport & recreation requirements could be |
