| Gentlemen of Grayshott Golf Society (GOGGS) |
| Description |
GOGGS was formed in 2000 by a handful of veteran novice golfers who were members of |
| Grayshott Social Club. The objective of the society is to provide competitive regular golf for people |
| who were not already members of existing golf clubs. |
| Today the club has a membership of seventy eight and this includes many single figure |
| handicappers as well as enthusiastic hackers who all derive great fun and enjoyment out of their |
| regular monthly meetings. |
| An average attendance at these golf days would be 25 - 30. The club is actively involved in the |
| village scene (the BIG charity match) as well as playing an annual fixture against its deadly rivals |
| the Grayshott Golf Society!! |
| Further local involvements included playing for the Grayshott pottery Sponsored Cup and the |
| Kapadokya Sponsored Cup the latter being the local Turkish Restaurant. |
