Converted from a former Edwardian school, The Phoenix is a thriving theatre and arts centre in |
| The intimate raked theatre plays host to more than thirty professional shows per year which |
| include drama, comedy, music and one-man shows. |
| In addition to this the Phoenix offers a wide range of arts activities both at the centre and as |
| outreach work in the community. |
| The Phoenix currently runs popular Kid’s Drama, Kid’s Art and Youth Theatre groups at the centre |
| during school term time which offers children and young people the opportunity to participate in |
| the arts in the local area. |
| Working with local professional arts practitioners, The Phoenix is ‘reaching out’ to provide arts for |
| everyone of all ages and abilities. |
