St. Luke's Women's Group
Description St Luke's Women's Group was founded in 1971 by the Vicar and his wife, the Rev and Mrs

Hooper. The object of the Group was to create a caring, friendly, ecumenical monthly meeting for

all women of all ages and backgrounds.

The meetings have had many speakers covering a large spectrum of subjects. Some that have

deepened our faith, taken us round the world, increased our knowledge of creative arts and

charities

such as Mercy Ships and recently the Hard of Hearing Support Group. It is hoped that all

members are enriched by the fellowship, the good humour and by getting to know one another.
