29th apr - Grayshott Celebrates St Georges Day with Cream Tea - Villagers flocked to a sunny Grayshott Square to celebrate St George's Day and partake in a much-loved English tradition, Cream scones & tea. The event was widely supported with volunteers baking scones and serving tea throughout the afternoon for local residents & business people. more...

news 3rd apr - PiG Donate £600 to Grayshott Primary School - Party in Grayshott today presented Jon Hills, Grayshott Primary School Head teacher, with a cheque for £600 towards the refurbishment of the school hall. The donation is from the proceeds of the recent sell out Pantomime in Grayshott - Jack & The Beanstalk - which included members of the schools Gold Class (Year 6) and staff members. The hall refurbishment includes new 'stage' lighting & controller, ceiling microphones and a new CD player. more...

When Winn King, proprietress of the Milky Way Organic Café, is forced to sell Daisy her cow, due to suspected poisoning by farmer GM Crop, it looks like she has no choice but to close the café. more...

news 19th feb - Stunning performance by Grayshott's new choir - Grayshott's new choir Excelsis, received a tumultuous standing ovation for their performance of Vivaldi's 'Gloria' at their debut concert in Grayshott on Saturday. The event, organised by Grayshott Concerts at St Luke's Church, marked the culmination of four months of intense activity in forming a new choir from scratch and rehearsing for the event. more...

news 5th feb - The Great Grayshott Pancake Race A very blustery Shrove Tuesday in Grayshott battered the eighteen brave contestants as they took part in the Great Grayshott Pancake Race held in The Village Square. A crowd of supporters and onlookers cheered on the runners whilst they negotiated the course around the square whilst flipping their pancakes as the wind tried to whip them away. After five close heats and semi finals the eventual winner, just beating Peter Harrison from Grayshott Concerts into a close second, was Chee-Man Chan pictured centre above who, representing Dinomite magazine produced by Grayshott based Signature Publishing, had dressed for the occasion.more...

news 4th feb - 2007 Best Dressed Shop in Grayshott Awards Dinner Last night (Sunday 3rd February) saw the exciting finale of the awards for the best dressed shop in Grayshott 2007. Judging is done twice a year, in spring and autumn, with marks awarded for cleanliness, shop display and general shop appearance. Marks are added up, but results are not known until the presentation dinner. more...
