23rd mar 2010 - Grayshott Concerts is 'top rate' says world famous composer - World famous composer and Patron of Grayshott Concerts, Karl Jenkins, flew back from New York recently, in time to attend the first full performance of Handel's Messiah ever to be staged in the village. "The Grayshott community certainly knows how to put on a great concert" said Dr Jenkins, "It was top rate." The performance at St Luke's Church on Saturday 20th March received an ecstatic response from the sell-out audience of over 300 who spontaneously rose to their feet for the Hallelujah Chorus.more...
8th feb - BIG Award to Amity for Best Dressed Shop in Grayshott - Last night (Sunday 7th February) saw the exciting finale of the awards for the best dressed shop in Grayshott. Judging is done twice a year, in the spring period and during the winter period, with marks awarded for cleanliness, shop display and general shop appearance. Marks are added up, but results are not known until the presentation dinner. more...
