5th sep 2010 - Everyone a winner at the BIG Charity Golf Day 2010 - Everyone was a winner at the BIG Charity Golf day held at Hurtmore Golf Club on Wednesday 1st September 2010 which raised £860 for St Luke's Church and the Grayshott Christmas Market. 26 golfers took part this year, in this annual competition, over 18 holes with individual and team prizes and prizes for nearest the pin and longest drive. more...

Judging is done twice a year, in the spring period and during the winter period, with marks awarded for cleanliness, shop display and general shop appearance. 29th jan 2010 - Christmas Presents from Carols in the Square - Following a collection after the Carols in the Square evening, the fantastic sum of £700 was raised. This was passed on to Grayshott Day Centre and Arthritis Care Grayshott at the BIG meeting held in the newly refurbished Fox & Pelican on Tuesday evening The treasurer of BIG Caroline Kaighin presented a cheque for £300 to Sybil Saunders and Joan Sims, who accepted it on behalf of the Arthritis Care Grayshott. more...
17th dec 2009 - Don't miss Grayshott's BIGgest event this year! - Everyone loves Carol Singing at Christmas! And the biggest and best opportunity for miles around is Grayshott's traditional open-air carol singalong at 7pm on Christmas Eve in Grayshott Square. Last year, the event attracted almost a thousand people, dwarfing events in Haslemere and other towns and villages throughout the district. Once again, the singing will be led by Revd Moray Thomas, Vicar of Grayshott, accompanied by Laudate, with refreshments of hot chocolate and jam dodgers served by the Rezurgence group. 8th dec 2009 - Helping Hand for Grayshott Litter Hitters - Members of the Buy in Grayshott organisation were in the village recently, led by Dick Smith, helping to make Grayshott clean and tidy for Christmas shoppers. 10th sep 2009 - BIG Charity Golf Day raises £1,200 - Forty Players competed in last Wednesday's BIG Charity Golf Day. The competition was very fierce with some incredibly good scores. Following the afternoon of golf, Hurtmore Golf Club put on an extremely good 3-course meal during which there was also an auction. 12th jan 2009 - Grayshott Carols Beat Fundraising Target - "Buy In Grayshott" (BIG) struck just the right chord in December by arranging a record-breaking fund-raising carol concert in association with Grayshott Concerts. The now traditional torchlight Carols-in-the-Square on Christmas Eve attracted almost a thousand people to the village to sing popular carols around the christmas tree. This year, BIG decided to donate the collection to the St Luke's Church Organ Appeal and raised a record breaking £730 more...

17th oct 2008 - Buy In Grayshott Donates to Organ Restoration Fund - The Buy in Grayshott campaign (BIG) were delighted to present the new vicar of St Luke's Church, Grayshott, Rev Moray Thomas with a cheque for £500 towards the cost of remedial work required on the church organ.
