FirkinFest 09 opened on FirkinFriday, 30th October with relaxing music from The Claire Phoenix Band during the evening.

The session started at 6pm and continued until midnight at Grayshott Village Hall with 30 superb ales and ciders on offer at £2.50 per pint and BBQ food and choice of wine and soft drinks also available throughout the evening.

Tickets for FirkinFriday were £5 and available in advance from Grayshott Books or on the door and included a FirkinFest souvenir glass, festival guide and tasting notes.
