After the outstanding success of 2009 FirkinFest, Grayshott's Real Ale & Cider Festival, returned for a second year at Grayshott Village Hall at the end of October 2010 and for FirkinFest III in 2011.
The beer festival started on FirkinFriday 29th October with 22 superb beers and ciders on offer at £2.80 per pint with musical entertainment during the evening from the Vic Cracknell Band.
On Saturday 30th October the festivities continued during the afternoon with FirkinJazz from Binky's Dixie Demons
FirkinFest concluded on Saturday evening with the FirkinFinale starring top tribute band The Rollin Clones
There was be BBQ food from the Kapadokya and choice of wine and soft drinks available throughout the festival.
Tickets for each of the three sessions included a FirkinFest souvenir glass, festival guide and tasting notes
The festival is supported by Grayshott Village Hall and main sponsors The Fox & Pelican and local business and organisations as FirkinSponsors
In case you are still wondering what a Firkin is, it's a nine gallon cask traditionally used to transport ale and cider and the inspiration behind Grayshott's FirkinFest.
We hope you are able to join us at FirkinFest IV on 26th & 27th October 2012.
