Mon 09/11/2009 10:07 - Just wanted to say congrats to Peter and the team for putting together a fab selection of beers for firkinfest. We attended on the Saturday afternoon which gave us a chance to sample lots of beers under 4%, thereby ensuring we were still sufficiently with it to get on the bus home! Music from Binkies really set the whole thing off. Can't wait till the next one - firkin fantastic!

Tue 03/11/2009 13:23 - Wow! What a night. We had a great time at the Beer Festival and watching the Upbeat Beatles. Were quite knackered the next day from too much singing and dancing (age related no doubt)! Maybe the beer had something to do with it.

Thanks to you and your fellow organisers for arranging such a good event - hopefully this will be repeated again and again.

I, for one, know that things don't 'just happen' - it needs a vision, drive, enthusiasm, hard work and attention to detail to bring it all together - and only then, and sometimes with a little bit of luck and a prevailing wind, do we get an evening such as last night.

Just from looking around the hall it was obvious that everyone was there to enjoy themselves and if I'm anything to go by, then there will be a lot of happy (but maybe hoarse!) people in Grayshott today.

I've been to many a 'professional' real ale festival to be very disappointed both with the range of beers and ales and their cellarge.
Not any more!! Your efforts a very appreciated by me - a very extensive range, 22 individual tastes on the Friday!
Oh! and the inspired 2pint 'carry out' bottles!
What a winner.
